Palm Valley Cocktails opened last weekend, bringing a little mid-century desert vibe to Dublin’s Bridge Park.
It occupies a small corner space on Riverside Drive, with a patio that looks out over the park and the river.
The decor is simple but relaxed, feeling like a little oasis in the middle of a busy neighborhood.
The menu includes a variety of cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks.
I tasted the Frank Lloyd Wright: Wild Turkey 101, Cynar, spiced-coconut sugar, tiki bitters. Definitely sweet, but a lovely sipper.
And the Desert Crab Mai-Tai brings a little drama with Planteray 3-Star Rum, dry curaçao, roasted pepita-camomile or fear, and fresh lime.
Palm Valley Cocktails is open Sunday-Thursday, 5 p.m. to midnight, and Friday-Saturday, 5 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
