Orale Güey Mexican Cafe Grill & Bar is ready to open their newest restaurant! The family-run Mexican restaurant first opened in March of 2025 on East Broad Street (in the old Block’s Bagels space), and shortly after went viral after a daughter of the family posted a TikTok video asking folks to come support the restaurant.

Over the past year they’ve earned fans – especially for their breakfast and brunch dishes – and were named one of Columbus Monthly‘s Best New Restaurants. And now they’re expanding in the former Zacateca’s space in the Worthington Woods center!

The space has been given a nice makeover, with new flooring, updated booths, and more. Let’s get a look at their dinner offerings!

We started with a paloma and a strawberry margarita.

Then we dug into the chicharrones served in guacamole.

And a quartet of cheese-filled flautas, also served with guacamole.

Their roasted pork-filled torta is smothered in a red sauce and topped with onions.

One of favorite bites was a chile relleno burrito!

And the rib-eye served over mashed potatoes with shrimp, served in a fiery sauce.

We can’t wait to see their full launch, including breakfast and brunch! They officially open on Saturday, May 23.
