    Happy Friday! Here’s the latest Columbus restaurant news:

    • DankHouse Brewing in Newark announced that they are expanding to a second location, this one at 901 Oak St. in Olde Towne East. The corner space was formerly Camelot Cellars. The DankHouse owners said that Shakedown Street Food, which serves at their original location, will also be opening a concept at the new pub.
    • The Moroccan pastry and coffee shop Maison Skalli teased that they’re adding a second location, this one in the Short North. An exact address and timeline haven’t been revealed yet.
    • After closing up last month alongside sister restaurant 1808 American Bistro, Rosebud’s in Delaware announced that it will be reopening soon. An exact opening date hasn’t been announced yet.
    • The owners of Jenny’s Diner officially launched their own taco truck, Gabriella’s Tacos, this week. They said the truck will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 3-9 p.m., parked behind the Clintonville diner.
    • The owners of 25 Dials vintage watch store announced they’re opening a coffee shop inside called 25 Dials Cafe. It’s set to debut on Saturday, Nov. 22; the shop is located at 1589 N. High St. near Ohio State’s campus.
    • Los Angeles-based Sweetgreen is opening its second central Ohio location, this one at 36 N. High St. in the heart of Historic Dublin, on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 10 a.m. An official grand opening party is coming on Tuesday, Dec. 2. Get a look at their first Columbus location in the Short North!
    • The owners of Zaki Mediterranean Grill opened their new location, Linworth Grill, this week at 2245 W. Dublin Granville Rd.
    • After a long hiatus, Mid City Garage in Merion Village reopened this week.
    • The owners of Ty Ginger Asian Bistro are opening a new spot, Dim Sum Asian Bistro, at 775 Yard St. in Grandview Yard.
    • AJ’s Tacos opens its first brick and mortar restaurant at 3307 Sullivant Ave. on Saturday, November 22.
    • Martiny’s BBQ in Lewis Center closed up temporarily last week and reopened yesterday, boasting a revamped menu, updated hours, and “a new level of service and quality.”
    • Following closely on the heels of the announcement that Panina Opa will open a stall at North Market Bridge Park, the owners announced they’re also taking over the old Anthony’s Pizza space at 602 Pleasant Ridge Ave. in Bexley.
    • The Waffle Way Cafe opened recently at 276 S. State St. in Westerville
    • A new eatery called FOMO Pizza & Sports Bar is coming soon to 4290 Home Rd. in Powell.
    • A new shop called Yaffa Cafe is coming sometime soon to Hilliard, serving pizza, desserts, and coffee. Exact details like an address or opening date haven’t been shared yet.

    Some great culinary events!

    • Chef Justin Wotring, owner of Caroline’s Sandwiches in North Market, returns with another Market After Dark dinner this Friday, Friday, Nov. 21. This dinner is a five-course French wine pairing dinner at 8 p.m.
    • This Saturday, Nov. 22, the newly opened Honest Friend Brewing is hosting the Pranom Thai food pop-up, which travels around the country serving Thai cuisine. The pop-up is set to run from 12-5 p.m. or until they sell out.
