The new Bombay House is bringing upscale Indian fare to Westerville, in the former Winking Lizard space on Polaris Parkway! The family-owned Indian eatery features a richly decorated dining room, with a full bar and a big menu of authentic Indian dishes.

The vast menu covers chaat, street food, Indo-Chinese specialties, biryanis, dosas, loads of appetizers and entrees, tandoori dishes, desserts, and drinks.
We enjoyed an adventurous dinner at Bombay House, starting with the vada pav, a pair of Mumbai-style potato fritter sliders sandwiched between soft pav bread and served with chutneys.

Bombay 65
Crispy cauliflower or paneer tossed with curry leaves, chilies, yogurt, and South Indian 65 masala.

The chole bhature is a richly spiced chickpea curry served with bhature.

masala dosa

We’ve had a lot of tandoori chicken over the years, but never tandoori mushrooms. These mushrooms marinated with yogurt, herbs, and spices, then char-grilled in the tandoor.

And of course, we have to try the house chicken tikka masala. Your choice of protein simmered in a rich tomato-cream sauce with onions and bell peppers

Garlic naan and an order of Afghani naan
Rich, soft naan with a lightly sweet finish.
