Happy Friday! Here’s the latest Columbus restaurant news:
- HangOverEasy opened its newest location at Dublin’s Bridge Park last week. This is their third Columbus location, joining the original on Neil Avenue and a second on Parsons Avenue. It’s located at 6757 Longshore Dr., formerly home to Kona Craft Kitchen.
- A new coffee shop called Palomino opened this week inside The Bottle Shop in Victorian Village. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays-Saturdays. Get a full look inside!
- Gatto’s Pizza, a longtime Clintonville mainstay, shared that they are opening a second location inside Hoof Hearted Brewing’s bar in the Short North.
- The Mediterranean fast casual chain CAVA has opened its first central Ohio location, this one at 1790 Hilliard Rome Rd. It will soon be joined by more around the region!
- It was announced that a new venture from the owner of Habibi Grill, called Fresh and Feta, is coming soon to Little Grand Market in Grandview.
- Cafe Elena on Bethel Road announced that they’re adding dinner service.
- Coffee Underground, a basement coffee shop inside The Indianola Church in Old North, is closing up after today May 8.
Some upcoming culinary events!
- Pancake breakfasts return this weekend to the Hills Market in Worthington! Five dollars gets you pancakes, sausage, and coffee. They’ll be served from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
- The season of food trucks at the Columbus Commons returned this week! This year you can visit for Taco Tuesdays (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), Breakfast at the Commons on Wednesdays (7:30-11:30 a.m.), and the combined Food Truck Food Court and Downtown Farmers Market on Thursdays (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
- The next Columbus Food Adventures’ Supper Club at the Parker House will feature a preview of The Line, coming soon from Service Relief to downtown Columbus. The dinner lands on Thursday, May 21; get your tickets here!
