If you’ve never tried cooked radishes, these air fryer radishes will surprise you! They’re tender, slightly sweet, and crispy—an easy, low-carb swap for roasted potatoes.

    Air Fryer Radishes

Radishes in the air fryer? Stay with me on this. If you’ve only ever eaten radishes raw—peppery, crisp, and often tossed in a salad—this method will completely change how you view them. Air frying transforms radishes into something unexpectedly delicious: tender on the inside, crispy on the outside, and mild in
flavor. Similar to roasted potatoes, only lower in carbs! I love roasted radishes in the oven, but making them in the air fryer is my new favorite method.

Why You’ll Love Air Fryer Radishes

    Gina @ Skinnytaste.com

My daughter Madison loves raw radishes, but I can’t get past their peppery bite. Roast them in the air fryer, and I can eat the whole batch!

    • Fast and Easy: Ready in under 15 minutes, they’re the perfect quick side dish.
    • Low-Carb: Radishes are a great substitute for roasted potatoes if you’re watching carbs.
    • Nutritious: Radishes are low in calories but packed with fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants. They support digestion, help fight inflammation, and are hydrating due to their high-water content.
    • Dietary Restrictions: Weight Watchers-friendly, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, high-fiber, paleo, Mediterranean diet-friendly, Passover-friendly, dairy-free, keto, low-carb, and anti-inflammatory

If you make this healthy air fryer radishes recipe, I would love to see it. Tag me in your photos or videos on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook. And be sure to join the Skinnytaste Community to see what everyone’s cooking!

What do air fryer radishes taste like?

The magic of cooking radishes is that their sharp, peppery bite mellows out completely, leaving behind a subtly sweet, earthy flavor. If you love roasted turnips or parsnips, you’ll enjoy these. They have a texture similar to baby potatoes—tender on the inside with crispy edges.

    What You’ll Need

    Radishes

Here are all the ingredients you need to air fry radishes. See the recipe card below for the exact measurements.

    • Radishes: Cut off the ends and slice the radishes in half.
    • Olive Oil to help the seasoning stick and keep the radishes moist
    • Seasoning: Salt, black pepper, onion powder
    • Parsley for freshness
    • Garlic for aromatic flavor
